Wedding Hair & Makeup: Natural, Yet Polished Look

This wedding was a true family affair.

I flew to Gainsville, Florida earlier this year, not only as the bridal hairstylist and makeup artist, but also as a bridesmaid for my cousin, Sara. It was so special & such a fun trip.

Sara’s overall bridal hair and makeup look was natural, but polished.

We went with an effortless updo that highlighted her naturally curly hair texture. Sara’s makeup included a neutral palette that complimented her perfectly fair skin (think: rosy pink cheeks & a peachy-nude lip). To complete the look, we added bold lashes for a little bridal glam.

What I loved most about Sara’s bridal look, was the versatility. Her look was just as suitable for their traditional Catholic church ceremony, as it was for the playful wedding reception.
