Bridal Hair & Makeup: Elegant San Diego Wedding

It was such a pleasure working with Chicago-based bride, Hannah, and her beautiful bridal party this summer. It was an idyllic day at one of my favorite venues in North County San Diego, Twin Oaks House & Garden.

Everything about this wedding was timeless and elegant.

Hannah’s hair was classic and romantic. We swept it away from her face, into a modern day french twist — with a few curls added for texture and dimension. I loved how her hair swept up complimented her Vera Wang dress so beautifully.

The bride’s makeup was soft and natural, highlighting all of her beautiful features. I focused on flawless skin; neutral smoky eyes; and a soft, nude lip.

It was also a treat doing the hair and makeup for her bridal party. Each bridesmaid had a slightly different hairstyle, each focused on the effortless elegance Hannah wanted.

Hannah looked absolutely stunning amidst a beautiful backdrop, surrounded by her lovely friends and family. I had a wonderful time doing her Hair & Makeup, & I’m so excited to share a few highlights from her big day with you.
